We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen as the marketing partner for the new National Speedway Stadium.
The new stadium, which is due to start construction this summer, forms a pivotal part of the East Manchester regeneration project; which includes the new Ethiad stadium for football giants, Manchester City.
This new world class venue, which is owned and managed by Belle Vue Aces bosses, David Gordon and Chris Morton, will cater for national and international events as well as be the new home of the Belle Vue Aces.
An integrated project, Cube3 have been charged with fulfilling the entire marketing proposition for the new stadium; which includes branding, creative, digital, event management and social media activity.
A key element to the overall campaign is the stadium fundraising which needs to support the stadium development going forward. Cube3 devised a sales strategy that centred on special commemorative bricks, which would line the main concourse and reception area of the stadium, being launched for general public sale. The NSS website, designed and built by Cube3, is the epicentre of this particular strand of the project and drives all ‘commemorative brick’ sales through a dedicated ecommerce platform.
An equally important component was the implementation of effective social media on order to communicate with the national and international network of speedway fans. Both Twitter and Facebook feeds have been greatly received with over 3,000 active followers and friends across both networks in fewer than six months. By working up a network of known speedway fans and supporters, Cube3 have been able to actively engage people with direct information about the new stadium and of course, the ‘buy a brick’ campaign.
